Dylan Zastrow

Music


Dylan is the Director of Youth Ministry for the Sheboygan North Catholic Parishes. He was born and raised in in Sheboygan where he attended St. Dominic school. Dylan graduated from North High School and after high school, Dylan attended UW-Sheboygan where he acquired a deeper passion and understanding of music. Following his time at UW-Sheboygan Dylan enrolled at Lakeland University, earning his degree in music with an emphasis in education.

Dylan enjoys being an active member in his church community. He has been a catechist since 2011, teaching young people about Jesus’ teachings and love for all of us. He has been active in music ministry since he attended St. Dominic school. Dylan sings, plays bass and helps lead the music team for the Teen Band at St. Dominic and the annual Living Stations of the Cross at St. Dominic. Dylan also plays tuba, trumpet, percussion and baritone. He has played in various bands and music groups, but he has a true passion for Praise and Worship music. Dylan truly loves the community we have built in the North Catholic Parishes because the people are welcoming and inviting.

Outside of music, Dylan enjoys nature because he truly feels God’s majesty while in the midst of His creation. He particularly enjoys Lake Michigan and his time spent with family and friends on his annual trip to Door County. Dylan enjoys hiking, fishing, and observing wildlife, especially birds of all kinds. He also enjoys his annual trip to Lifest, which is a Christian Music Festival in Oshkosh, WI.
